Rules for using iGotTools browser-first tools, tool outputs, third-party services, advertising-supported pages, and legal disclaimers.
Acceptance
By using iGotTools, you agree to these terms and to use the site responsibly. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Service
iGotTools provides free browser-first tools for formatting, converting, generating, inspecting, and checking data. Tools may change, move, pause, or stop without notice.
Browser-first processing
Most MVP tools run in your browser. iGotTools does not intentionally receive tool inputs, files, generated values, or tool results for those tools, but third-party services may process technical and usage data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Output responsibility
Tools are provided as-is for convenience and informational use. You are responsible to verify outputs before relying on them, especially for work, legal, financial, security, medical, or publishing decisions.
No professional advice
iGotTools does not provide legal, medical, financial, security, tax, or other professional advice. Consult a qualified professional before using tool output for decisions that require professional judgment.
Tool-specific caveats
JWT decoding does not prove a token is trusted unless signature verification is available and correctly used. Hash and checksum tools are not encryption. Password and token generator output must be stored and handled by you. EXIF and image tools may reveal metadata if you export or share source files. IP, CIDR, browser, and diagnostic tools are informational and may not reflect every network or device condition.
Acceptable use
Do not use iGotTools for unlawful activity, abuse, service interference, harmful scraping, security bypass attempts, automated overload, malware, impersonation, or misleading reuse of generated outputs.
Intellectual property
iGotTools owns its site design, copy, trademarks, and original code except for third-party libraries and user-provided content. You keep responsibility for content you process with the tools.
Third-party services and links
iGotTools may link to or rely on third-party services for hosting, analytics, advertising, fonts, libraries, or external resources. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, policies, availability, or security.
Advertising
iGotTools may show Google AdSense or other advertising. Advertising does not mean iGotTools endorses the advertiser, product, service, or claim.
Warranty disclaimer
The site and tools are provided as-is and as available. This warranty disclaimer means that, to the extent allowed by law, iGotTools disclaims warranties of accuracy, availability, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, iGotTools is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the site, tool outputs, third-party services, ads, or unavailable features.
Changes
We may update these terms when the site, tools, advertising, legal requirements, or operating model changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
