Cookie Policy

How iGotTools uses cookies, local storage, analytics storage, advertising cookies, consent controls, and browser controls.

Overview

cookies and similar technologies are small browser storage methods used to remember choices, measure usage, or support ads. This policy also covers localStorage and comparable browser storage.

Necessary storage

Necessary storage supports basic site behavior, security, page rendering, consent state, and features that need local browser state to work.

Preference storage

Preference storage may remember theme, locale, favorites, dismissed interface state, or other local-only settings. These preferences are intended to improve repeat use of the site.

Analytics cookies

Analytics cookies or similar storage support Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and a privacy-safe aggregate usage counter after analytics consent. Clarity uses _clck and _clsk for pseudonymous visits and session playback. Tool-workspace inputs, files, previews, and results are explicitly masked and are not uploaded as readable Clarity content; Clarity may still process interaction, layout, device, and diagnostic metadata. Playback is generally retained for 30 days, while other categories may follow Microsoft's current retention schedule.

Advertising cookies

Advertising cookies and choices are separate and belong to the Google Privacy & Messaging CMP for eligible regulated traffic. After publication, reopen Privacy and cookie settings to choose Do not consent, Consent, or Manage options. Ad slots remain disabled during pre-approval.

Third-party cookies

third-party cookies or similar storage may be set by analytics, advertising, embedded, security, or infrastructure providers under their own policies. Some providers may process data outside your country.

Browser controls

You can block or delete cookies in browser settings and use the Google Analytics opt-out. Google Ads Settings controls personalized ads, while the AdSense help link is informational rather than a revocation control. Blocking necessary storage may affect site behavior.

Retention and lifespan

Local preferences may remain until cleared. Microsoft Clarity session playback is generally retained for 30 days; labeled, aggregated, click, or heatmap data may remain longer under Microsoft's current retention schedule. Other analytics and advertising storage follows provider settings or legal requirements.
